With our secure payment service, you have complete peace of mind that your payment is always safe, and your project booking is secure. 

How do we accept payments?

Our payment service provider, Stripe, is a third-party company that we utilise to accept online payments. Stripe ensures that transactions are delivered safely and reliably. They take responsibility for the entire payment process, from the time a customer enters their payment details to the time payment is received by the freelancer.

How to pay

You can pay for services on the Bravoo platform using your debt or credit card. Payment is at confirmation of the event contract and must be paid in full, other than any payment withholding required by law. 

Client Cancellations

A minimum of 7 business days from the date of an event contract is required to cancel any payment with a full refund. To cancel a payment, notify us within this time and we will make the cancellation and refund your money directly in our payment system. 

Client cancellations later than 7 business days but earlier than 3 business days before an event will only be refunded at 50% of the contract price, with the balance remitted to the freelancer. Cancellations later than 24 hours before an event will generally not be refunded and the entire contract price will be remitted to the freelancer unless there are exceptional circumstances, which we will determine in our discretion.

Freelancer Cancellations

If a freelancer cancels at least 3 business days before a scheduled event contract, we will offer you a full refund or offer to source an alternative freelancer to cover the absence. The freelancer will also be required to pay any fees associated with remitting your refund to you. 

Unless there are exceptional circumstances, If the freelancer cancels a second time in respect of the same event contract, they will be suspended for 30 days from our platform. They will also be required to pay any fees associated with remitting your refund to you and a 30% cancellation fee calculated on the event contract price.

Unless there are exceptional circumstances, If the freelancer cancels a third time they will be suspended indefinitely from our platform. They will also be required to pay any fees associated with remitting your refund to you and a 50% cancellation fee calculated on the event contract price.

Dishonour fees and disputed fees

If we are required to pay a dishonour fee by our payment processing provider due to their being insufficient funds in your account to process a payment, we will pass those fees on to you. 

If you create a chargeback by disputing a payment with your credit card issuer, we will pass on any dispute processing fees on to you and will pass on any evidence the freelancer wishes to provide to resolve the dispute to the credit card issuer. 

Payment Processing Fees

Our payment processing provider charges a variety of different payment fees depending on whether the payment is a direct or destination charge. We generally pass those fees onto you unless one of the cancellations circumstances referred to above has occurred. 

Stripe Connect Express - (Pricing)

Onboarding, verification, and compliance (A$2 - per monthly active account) 

- An account is active in any month payouts are sent to their bank account or debit card. 

Funds routing and platform management (0.25% )

- Payout volume is the amount of funds sent to a user's bank account

Payouts (A$025 - per payout sent)

- A payout occurs each time funds are sent to a user's bank account or debit card. 

Limitation of Liability

Each event contract is between you and the freelancer. As such, if you are unsatisfied with quality of your service you may contact the freelancer directly for a refund. Bravoo acts as intermediary only between you and the freelancer and you agree to indemnify Bravoo and hold it harmless from any claims, actions or suits arising out of your use of the site, other than Bravoo’s gross negligence.
